The Israeli army invaded the village if Ateel near the West Bank city of Tulkarem, and arrested on resident on Friday morning.
Soldiers and army jeeps stormed the village and conducted a wide scale search campaign before arresting Bassam Abu Khalil after surrounding the local mosque and forcing everyone out.
Abu Khalil was taken to an unknown location, eyewitnesses reported.
