Sunday evening, an Israeli fighter-jet targeted a Palestinian vehicle driving in Al Nasser neighborhood, west of Gaza city, two residents were moderately injured.
Local source reported that the vehicle was transporting members of the Al Qassam Brigades, the military wing of Hamas, and that the group managed to escape from the vehicle before the missile hit it.
An Israeli military source confirmed the attack, adding that the “target was not hit."
The Israeli air force started a series of missile attacks in Gaza, the first beginning shortly after midnight Sunday when a missile hit Gaza city. No damage or injuries were reported.
Two Palestinian fighters were also killed Sunday in a seperate missile attack at a resistance group in Beit Hanoun, located in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Three other fighters and four civilians were also injured in the attack.
In a seperate incident, One fighter was killed in an internal explosion in Jablia.
