The Al Aqsa martyrs brigades, the armed wing of Fateh movement, claimed responsibility for firing at Israeli soldiers stationed at a military checkpoint near Tiaseer village, south of the West Bank city of Jenin; two soldiers were injured.
In a press release, the brigades stated that a group of fighters targeted the military checkpoint and injured two soldiers, adding that the attack comes in retaliation for the assassination of Mohamed Abu Satour, brigades leader in Jenin refugee camp.
Soldiers imposed curfew over the area and conducted military searches.
