Thursday evening, Palestinian sources in the West Bank city of Ramallah reported that a Palestinian intelligence officer and member of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of Fateh movement, was shot and killed by Israeli military fire.

An under-covered unit of the Israeli army invaded Ramallah Al Tihta area, shot and killed Ayman Rateb, member of the Al Aqsa Brigades.

Rateb bled to death after soldiers barred an ambulance crew from evacuating him to a local hospital in the city, a medical source reported.

Following the attack, dozens of residents hurled stones at the under-cover units before dozens of military vehicles invaded the area and evacuated the unit.

Also, resistance fighters exchanged fire with Israeli troops operating in Ramallah. A fighter of the brigades told the Israeli Ynetnews that one soldier was hit by resistance fire, army denied the report.
