Friday before noon, Israeli soldiers and border guards invaded the West Bank town of Al-Khader near Bethlehem, and broke into several homes in the town, conducting searches and forcing residents to stand outside in very hot weather for at least two hours. No arrests were reported.

According to Israeli military sources, the attack on Al-Khader came after a Palestinian youth threw a bottle at an Israeli settler’s vehicle driving on a nearby bypass road.  Another settlers’ bus driving near Al-Khader town was hit with stones and empty bottles. No injuries were reported.
