Friday night Palestinian medical sources reported that three residents, members of the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, were injured after the Israeli Air Force fired a missile at a Palestinian vehicle driving in a Gaza street.
Eyewitnesses reported that the missile landed near the vehicle that was carrying at least four members of the Islamic Jihad. The fighters managed to leave the vehicle before the missile struck it.
The Israeli army confirmed the attack and claimed that the fighters were on their way to fire homemade shells at Israeli settlements adjacent to the Gaza Strip.
In a separate attack on Friday at night, Israeli apaches fired missiles at a training center for the Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, in Al Zaytoun neighborhood, south of Gaza City.
The center was burnt while ambulances and civil defense teams headed towards the shells area, no injuries were reported.
In Khan Younis, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip, the Israeli air force shelled two civilian populated areas and one training center for Abu Al Reesh Brigades, one of the armed wing of Fateh movement.
