Israeli Army tanks shelled two houses in Abssan village, east of Khan Younis in the southern Gaza strip, injuring one resident Saturday afternoon.

Fou’ad Al Daghmah, 52, was injured when a tank shell hit his farm.  Several other houses were shelled, though no injuries were reported.

Israeli tanks and bulldozers, which are based in Rafah international Airport, invaded the village in the morning as part of the ongoing military offensive in the Gaza Strip that is called  "Operation Summer Rain."
