Monday, Israeli troops killed two Palestinians in two separate incidents in the Gaza Strip. One of the residents was killed in a targeted killing strike while the other is a member of the Palestinian security forces.

 

Eyewitnesses reported that an Israeli plane fired at least one missile at a vehicle in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, killing Abdul-Rahim Jaber Daraj, 30; two residents were injured in the attack.

Also, one member of the Palestinian security force was killed by Israeli military fire in Beit Hanoun after the tanks and panzers advances 1 kilometer into the area and occupied three houses turning them into monitoring towers. The killed member of the Palestinian Security Fofrces remained unidentified.  

Troops positioned themselves on roofs of the occupied houses, and used them as observation posts.

Sunday, Israeli soldiers shot and killed three Palestinian fighters in the Gaza International Airport in Rafah, in the southern part of the Gaza Strip.

According to Israeli military sources, soldiers potted three Palestinians heading towards the airport which is now completely occupied by the soldiers.

Soldiers claimed that the three residents, apparently resistance fighters, were carrying explosives and attempting to reach the tanks and military vehicles to carry a suicide bombing against the invading forces.

Exchanges of fire took place in the airport area between fighters of the Al Qassam Brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, and the Israeli troops.
