Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) reported Saturday that prisoners in Shatta Israeli detention facility continued with their open hunger strike for the fourth day in protest to their bad imprisonment conditions and the Israeli military operations in the Gaza Strip.
Haleema Irmeelat, head of the Palestinian Prisoners Society (PPS) added that Israeli interrogators broke into several sections of the prison and attacked the prisoners using clubs and tear gas four days earlier and caused several injuries.
The prisoners are also denied medical treatment.
The PPS called on Human Rights organizations, International Red Cross and Arab Israeli Knesset Members to immediately intervene and work on stopping the Israeli violations against the prisoners.
