Palestinian sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Saturday night after midnight that Israeli soldiers shelled several houses in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. Tanks and personnel carriers invaded the area.

The Palestinian News Agency, WAFA, reported that soldiers shelled on Saturday night after midnight several houses in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli military apaches fired rounds of live ammunition at dozens of houses in Beit Hanoun causing considerable damage, at least two civilians were injured.
 
On Saturday at night, Israeli tanks and armored personnel carriers invaded areas in Beit  Hanoun, and were positioned in Palestinian farmlands near Beit Hanoun.

The tanks and carriers were seen moving towards populated areas, Israeli online daily Haaretz reported.

The invasion started with machine gun and shell fire at the Palestinian areas, and then ten tanks and bulldozers invaded the area.
