American smart bombs are going to be delivered to Israel through Qatar, according to an article published today by the London based newspaper The Middle East.
The article stated that the American smart bombs, which Washington decided to send to Israel, will be shipped to Israel from Al-Adeed military base in Qatar. Israeli informal sources and the New York Times reported that Washington sped up the date of delivery of these bombs.
American smart bombs can reach 30-40 meters deep in the ground, and are designed to bomb underground shelters and military bases. Israeli sources also said that Israel will have 100 of those bombs, and will use them to bomb Hezbollah underground forces. The bombs will also be used to assassinate Hezbollah general leaders, including Hezbollah secretary general Sheikh Hassan Nasrallah, in which, if successful, Israel will consider the conflict over.
