Israeli army troops installed several military checkpoints on the main roads to and on roads inside the West Bank city of Salfit Monday morning.
Soldiers stopped residents and civilian cars, searching and checking ID cards on the main roads connecting the city with neighboring villages and towns. Soldiers also setup roadblocks on roads throughout the city, eyewitnesses reported.
