The Israeli army troops installed several military checkpoints on the main roads and inside the West Bank city of Salfit Monday morning.

Soldiers stopped residents and civilian cars, searching them and checking ID cards on the main roads contacting the city with the neighboring villages and town.  Eyewitnesses reported that the occupying military were also conducting searches and hassling civilians on the road that connects the two sides of the city.
