Esma’el Al Sabah, 23, was taken prisoner by Israeli soldiers at the Atzion checkpoint near Hebron while traveling from work to his home in the village of Taqua, east of the West Bank city of Bethlehem.
Troops stopped and searched the public taxi car Al Sabah was traveling in. Soldiers checked ID cards before before taking Al Sabah to an unknown location, eyewitnesses reported.
