Israeli forces invaded the village of Beit Fourik east of the West Bank city of Nablus Wednesday at dawn, taking one resident prisoner.

Najeh Khataita, 56, was taken to unknown location after troop’s stormed the village, surrounded his home, and ransacked it, eyewitnesses reported.

Khataita had been in Israeli jails for the past 10 years, local residents reported. Troops also searched a number of houses in the village before leaving.

Residents of Beit Fourik also receive daily attacks from settlers who live in the nearby illegal settlements build on annexed land from the village.
