On Wednesday at dawn, the Israeli army installed a checkpoint at the southern entrance of the West Bank town of Qabatia, south of Jenin.
Local sources reported that soldiers present at the checkpoint stopped the vehicles and forced those inside to exit their vehicles before searching them and examining their identity cards.
The sources added that Israeli military vehicles chased residents who took the side roads and confiscated their vehicles.
