A Israeli policemen from the border guards division shot and killed a Palestinian resident in east Jerusalem Thursday night, Israeli police in Jerusalem reported. The police claim the resident opened fire at policemen before they shot him.
The sources added that a Palestinian youth arrived at a checkpoint near the Jabal Al Mokabber area in east Jerusalem and fired at policemen, moderatly injuring one policeman and slightly injuring another.
Border-guard policemen shot and killed the youth, the sources added.
A Palestinian source reported that one resistence fighter was killed after opening fire at Israeli policemen in Jabal Al Mokabber.
