Palestinian security sources in Gaza reported that a Palestinian child was shot and killed by Israeli military fire in Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The Media Center that belongs to the National Security Force reported that the child, Anas Zamlat, was killed late of Thursday at night while standing in front of his parents’ house.

The center added that the child was killed after the Israeli Air Force opened fire at houses in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Five Palestinians were killed by Israeli military fire and shells in the Gaza Strip on Thursday. At least 25 residents were injured, five seriously.

Troops shelled several houses in Al Qarem area, east of Gaza City, and shelled several areas in the northern and southern parts of the Gaza Strip.

Khaled Rady, media spokesperson of the Palestinian Ministry of Health, reported that Ahmad Ismail Abu Amsha, 25, Mohammad Kallab, 19, and Yousef Sh’eib, 23, were killed after the Israeli army shelled Gaza on Thursday.  A 74-year old woman, Kamila Al Najjar, was killed in Jabalia after an Israeli shell hit her house.

One child identified as Mariam Abdul-Raouf Al Kafarna, 9, was seriously injured in her head.  

On Wednesday, 25 Palestinians, including children, were killed and at least 80 were injured.
