Official sources in the Palestinian Office of the Public Land Defense Committee announced Thursday that the Israeli government will confiscate another 215 dunams of land for the Wall. This time the site is between northwestern Hebron and southwestern Bethlehem.

The Public Land Defense Committee reported, “The land targeted by the Israeli military order is targeting occupied lands in the West Bank for new sections of the Apartheid Wall.”

The latest statement added, “The military order gave landowners weeks for the necessary legal objections. The confiscation includes lands located from Hebron and into Wadi Foukin in Bethlehem.”

Historically speaking, using the Israeli court system to fight Israeli land confiscation for its Wall in the West Bank, despite the ruling against it by the International Court of Justice in the Hague, have proven unsuccessful.
