Hundreds of Jerusalem residents protested Tuesday morning in front of the Holy Sepulchre Church in the Old City of Jerusalem against the Qana massacre committed by the Israeli army on Sunday.

The protesters also gathered to show their solidarity with both the Palestinian and Lebanese people.

Patriarch Attallah Hannah, president of the Sebastia Priests, said that this demonstration, which includes several organizations, national groups and local residents, came to show solidarity with our people in Palestine and Lebanon.

Hannah sent his condolences to people who lost their children and family members.  He also asked the international community and peace-loving people from all over the world to double their efforts to stop the attacks and war crimes committed in Gaza and Lebanon and he announced the launch of the Jerusalem campaign to aid the Lebanese people.
