Thursday, Israeli army shelled with heavy artillery areas in the eastern and northern parts of the Gaza strip.
Scores of tank shells hit residential areas in Al Sha’af area north of the strip, damage to residents houses was reported.
Meanwhile tanks and army bulldozers stormed the industrial zone near Beit Hanoun crossing and destroyed infrastructure facilities and shops.
