Three Palestinians including a child were killed in an Israeli air strike in the Beit Hanoun in the northern part of the Gaza Strip in the early hours of Monday morning, Palestine news network reported.

Three other civilians were injured in the attack which targeted a residential area in the city.

Palestinian medical sources at Kamal Udwan hospital said the three dead belonged to the same family and were identified as, Ahmad 18, Othman 70, and Zuheir Kafarna 50.

The source added that all the dead were civilians and that they were severely mutilated, as result of the missile which was fired from an Israeli drone struck their house.

Palestinian security sources said, a group of resistance fighters came to the area and intended to fire home-made shells as , however, residents tried to prevent them, before the drone fired the missile.

On Sunday, a mother and her child were wounded and Israeli tanks opened its heavy machine gun fire at their house in Al-Bureij refugee camp in the central Gaza Strip.

Palestinian sources said that Halima Abu Al-Sa’eed, 39 and her son Sayel 13, were taken to the hospital for treatment and their wounds were described as moderate.
