Palestinian Medical sources and eyewitnesses in Jabalia town, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, reported that at least twelve residents were injured when an Israeli fighter jet fired at least one missile at a Palestinian house in the town.

The sources added that the Israeli air force shelled the house of Sa’id Joudah, one of the leaders of the Al Quds brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad. The house was leveled by the blast, and at least twelve residents were hospitalized.

A doctor a Kamal Adwan Hospital in northern Gaza said that some of the injured residents suffered serious injuries.

Eyewitnesses reported that the residents living in the house received a phone call from someone who identified himself as an Israeli military officer, and ordered them to evacuate the house within 15 minutes.
