Israeli soldiers killed on Tuesday at night one resident in Beit Lahia
town, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip. The latest casualty
raises the number of residents killed on Tuesday in the west Bank and
the Gaza Strip to seven.
Dr. Moawiya Hasanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, reported that the resident was identified as Husam Nafeth Abu Rokba, 24, from the Jabalia refugee camp, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
Abu Rokba was near the evacuated settlement of Doughit. He was hit by shell shrapnel in several parts of his body.
The incident raises the number of Palestinian killed on Tuesday to seven.
Three residents were killed in an Israeli air strike in Al Shujaeyya neighborhood, east of Gaza City.
One woman identified as Mriam Farhoda, 60, died today due to wounds she sustained last month in an Israeli army air strike that targeted civilians' houses in Jabalia town north of the Gaza strip.
Two more residents were assassinated earlier on Tuesday at dawn in Nablus city, in the northern part of the West Bank.
