Dr. Ghazi Hamad spokesperson of the Palestinian government told
Al-Jazeera on Thursday, that Hamas will not accept that the new
government recognizes Israel saying that Israel does not recognize the
Palestinian government.
On the other hand, Palestinian Prime Minister Ismael Haniya said the new government will negotiate with Israel.
Haniya, who will be named as Prime Minister of the new coalition government, added that the Hamas government has given the green line to its ministers to negotiate with Israel since the government was formed, to manage daily life needs of the Palestinian People.
The Palestinian factions agreed to form a national unity government as a way out of the current economic blockade imposed by the United States, the European Union and Israel.
Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas told the Palestinian factions that Russia, the European Union and China will approve the new coalition government when formed and will have diplomatic ties with it.
Abbas has promised few days ago that the Palestinian Authority will pay the over due salaries to 165 thousand civil servants.
PA civil servants have not received their paycheck since March when the blocked was declared.
