Israeli forces raided the town of Az Zababda, south of the city of Jenin on Sunday morning, Palestinian sources reported. Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli military vehicles entered from each direction, amid shooting intensive fire towards the citizens' houses. Troops set up a number of temporary military barriers at the main entrances to the city.

Eyewitnesses reported that confrontations took place at the southern entrance to the city. Although Israeli forces shot live ammunition and sound bombs and Palestinian youths threw stones and empty bottles, no injuries were reported.
