Tuesday evening, one Palestinian resident was injured after an Israeli
war-jet fired at least one missile at a vehicle in Juhr Ed Deen area,
in the central Gaza Strip.
A Palestinian medical source at the Al Aqsa Martyrs Hospital, in Dir Al Balah, reported that the injured resident suffered moderate wounds.
Dr. Moawiya Hassanen, head of the Emergency Unit at the Palestinian Ministry of Health, reported that the resident was hit by missile fragments.
The car was completely burnt as a result of the blast, local sources reported, one of the passengers was injured.
Eyewitnesses reported that the resident in the targeted vehicle managed to flee the car before the missile struck it.
Meanwhile, an Israeli military source confirmed the attack and said that the targeted car carried fighters of the Al Aqsa Brigades, the armed wing of Fateh movement.
Also on Tuesday evening, resistance fighters exchanged fire with Israeli soldiers operating in the northern part of the Gaza Strip, no casualties were reported.
