Israeli forces invaded the village of Qabatia near the West Bank city of Jenin Wednesday morning and took prisoner two brothers.
A number of armored vehicles and troops invaded the village from several directions, opened fire and fired sound bombs randomly at residents' homes before taking Mohamed Ekmeel and his brother Awwad, to unknown locations.
Residents said that soldiers searched and ransacked a number of houses, forcing families out and spot interrogating them.
Elsewhere, in Al Yamon village, west of Jenin, troops invaded on Wednesday morning and searched and ransacked scores of residents' homes. No arrests were made, local sources reported.
