For the sixth day, Israeli troops continued their invasion in the
eastern and norther parts of the Gaza Strip, and stationed dozens of
armored vehicles east of Beit Hanoun, and north of Beit Lahia.
Local sources reported the soldiers occupied the rooftops of several houses after breaking into them and searching them, damage to the property was reported.
Also, soldiers used several houses as military posts and monitoring towers and fired rounds of live ammunition at any resident who tried to approach the occupied homes.
The sources added that soldiers distributed leaflets on the residents of Al Saifa area informing them that the army will be stationed there for a long period.
An Israeli army source also said that troops will be stationed there for a long period “but will not obstruct the daily life of the residents, according to the source.
