Palestinian detainees in Nigaze Israeli detention center said on
Monday that 11 Egyptian political detainees continued today their
hunger strike that started one week ago.

The 11 detainees were taken prisoner while attempting to enter Palestinian areas through the borders, and  were imprisoned there without any charges against them since then.

The detainees called upon the Egyptian government to interfere and end their suffering.

In a related issue, Prison Administration of the Negev etention camp rejected on Monday an appeal filed by Amar Darghmah, 28, from the West Bank city of Tubas to receive the needed medical care.

Daeghmah was taken prisoner 3 years ago and was sentenced to 6 years. He suffers from Multiple Sclerosis.
 

Darghmah apealed humanitarian organization to help the detainees in obtaining the needed medical care  and attention.
