Palestinian medical sources in the Gaza Strip reported on Monday
evening that two residents were killed in two separate incidents in
that took place in Gaza city and in the Jabalia refugee camp, in the
northern part of the Gaza Strip. Five Palestinians were also killed on Monday killed in seperate incidents in the Gaza Strip.

The Al Qassam brigades, the armed wing of Hamas, reported that one of its fighters was killed in clashes with Israeli soldiers operating around the Eastern Graveyard, east of Al Tuffah neighborhood, in Gaza city.

The fighter was identified as Ahmad Motee' Al Hasry, 24; he was one of the field leaders of the Al Qassam brigades.

In a separate attack, one fighter of the Al Qassam brigades was killed was killed east of the Jabalia refugee camp. The fighter was identified as Usama Saleh Jaber, 20.

On Monday afternoon, two Palestinians were killed in two separate Israeli military attacks in Gaza City and Beit Lahia.  At least four residents were injured in Jabalia, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The two were identified as Ala' Tawfiq Siyam, 24, and Mahmoud Awni Taha, 31. Tahas was killed east of Al Tuffah neighborhood in Gaza City, while Ala' Tawfiq Siyam, 24, was shot and killed by Israeli troops stationed at the border line with the Gaza Strip as he was standing near the American School in the town.

One Israeli soldier was injured on Monday afternoon when a woman suicide bomber blew herself up near soldiers invading Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.

Also on Monday, two schoolchildren were killed after the Israeli air force fired a missile at a vehicle driving beside a school bus; nine children, and one teacher, were also injured in the attack.

The sources identified the two children as Mohammad Ahmad Ashour, 16, and Ramzi Al Sharafi, 15. The Palestinian Ministry of Health reported that the injured children are 10 – 13 year-old.

One female teacher was seriously injured and was moved to the Intensive Care Unit at Al Shifa Hospital in Gaza.

On Monday afternoon an 18-year old Palestinian woman blew herself up at an Israeli military checkpoint installed by the Israeli army in Beit Hanoun, in the northern part of the Gaza Strip.
