The Israeli army invaded the northern West Bank city of Qalqilia and took one Palestinian man prisoner on Monday morning.

A number of armored vehicles and jeeps invaded the city, surrounded the house of Omer Marab'a, searched and ransacked it, then took Marab'a to an unknown location, local sources reported.

The Marab'a family said that Israeli troops also attacked and ransacked a barbershop in the city center that belongs to the Marab'a's brother, during the morning invasion.

Palestinian sources reported that the Israeli army has taken 18 residents prisoner, from various west Bank cities, in predawn invasions.
