Palestinian medical and security sources in Nablus, in the northern
part of the West Bank, reported on Sunday afternoon that Israeli troops
shot and killed a 15-year old child in the nearby Askar refugee camp.

The child, Jamil Jabaji, was shot by a round of live ammunition in his head after the army, invading the camp, fired at youth hurling stones at them, a medical source at Rafidia hospital in Nablus reported.

The child was shot in Al Talla area, close to a main road that passes near the camp. Israeli sources reported that the army made not comment on the incident.

Five Palestinian were killed since Israel and the Palestinians declared a truce last week, but Israeli officials insist that the truce is only in the Gaza Strip, while Palestinian factions said that they will not agree to a truce that does not include all of the occupied territories.
