Palestinian sources in Gaza reported that fighters of the Al Quds
Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad survived an apparent
assassination attack near the souther entrance of Beit Hanoun, in the
northern part of the Gaza Strip.

The army a ground-ground missile at a group of fighters who gathered near Al Qaraman Street, south of Beit Hanoun, but the group managed to escape unharmed.

Meanwhile, an Israeli military source reported that soldiers fired a missile at a group of fighters who intended to fire homemade shells into Israeli areas.

The missile was fired from an Israeli military base close to the Gaza Strip borders, local sources reported.
