Palestinian sources reported on Friday evening that Israeli soldiers,
backed by several armored vehicles and jeeps invaded the northern part
of the Gaza Strip and stationed east Jabalia.
The Ramattan News Agency reported that the invasion was carried out by ten armored vehicles and tanks that invaded the northern Gaza Strip through Abu Safiyya area.
The military vehicles and jeeps took positions in Ezbit Abed Rabbo area, east of Jabalia, local sources reported. No clashed were reported.
This is the first invasion to the area since the Palestinian factions declared cease-fire two months ago.
