Abu Ali Mustafa brigades, an offshoot of the Popular Front for the Liberation of Palestine (PFLP) claimed Friday it fired a rocket-propelled grenade at an Israeli military jeep to the north of the Gaza Strip. In a statement, the brigades reiterated its right to continue resisting the Israeli occupation, calling on all Palestinian resistance groups to establish a unified front to confront the Israeli occupation. Israel has recently reinforced presence of its military on the Gaza-Israel border line, under the pretext of preventing homemade rockets fire by Palestinian resistance groups at nearby Israeli towns. Two weeks ago Israel resumed air raids in northern Gaza killing at least two Palestinians said to be resistance fighters, and wounding a few others including a farmer, according to medics.
