A mysterious object, believed to be a remnant of previous Israeli attacks, wounded a resident critically to the east of Alburaij refugee camp in central Gaza Strip, Palestinian medical sources said.
Dr. Moawiya Abu Hasanain, head of the emergency department at the Health Ministry identified the wounded as Jamal Kmail, 30, saying he was critically injured after being exposed to a mysterious explosive device.
The wounded was first admitted at the Al-Aqsa Martyrs hospital in central Gaza then to the Alshifa hospital in Gaza City for the extremely critical injuries he sustained, Abu Hasanain added.
Since June2006, the Israeli army has attacked the area several times.
