Local Palestinian resistance groups clamed responsibility for hurling home made bombs at invading Israeli forces in the city of Nablus on Saturday.
The Al-Aqsa brigades of Fatah and Naief Abu Sharaf brigades, the armed wing of the popular front for the liberation of Palestine, calmed responsibility for the attack.
The groups said that its fighters ambushed the invading troops by planting a home made bomb at a settlers’ road near the city. One army vehicle sustained damage and a four hour long gun battle also broke out. No injures were reported.
In the morning, Israeli troops attacked and searched scores of homes in Nablus and nearby villages. Troops fired randomly at homes, damaging many of them.
