The Hamas movement issued a press statement on Saturday stating that the Palestinian security forces of the Palestinian President Mahmoud Abbas of Fatah had arrested four members of Hamas movement from several parts of the West Bank on Friday night.
In Salfit city, located in the northern part of the West Bank, Fatah forces arrested Husam Abed-Allah, Ra’ed Yousif, and Ayioub Abed Al Jawad, three are members of Hamas, the statement said that Fatah forces searched their homes before taking them away.
Meanwhile the statement added that Abed Bider, from the northern West Bank city of Tulkarem was also arrested by Fatah forces on Friday night. Bider is the son of a leader in the Islamic Jihad movement who was killed during a military invasion to Jenin city on 2002.
