Five Palestinians were kidnapped from the village of Al Khadir, west of Bethlehem city, in a pre-dawn invasion of the area on Wednesday.
Eyewitnesses reported that Israeli military units invaded the town from its western entrance. Using dogs, troops forcibly entered civilian homes and undertook extensive searches, ransacking residents’ homes. The army forced civilians from their homes, detaining many of them for several hours in the very cold weather.

Sources have recently identified those abducted as: Mahmoud Sbeih, 23, Mahmoud Saleh, 22, Ahmad Sbeih, Mahomoud Mousa and Ahmad Mousa. All were moved to an unidentified detention center, after being detained without criminal charge.
