Two Palestinian resistance fighters were reported killed on Tuesday morning in two separate Israeli air raids targeting the northern part of the Gaza strip.

The Al Qassam brigades the armed wing of Hamas stated that one of it’s fighters, Ayman Al Qahwaji, 23, was killed when Israeli jet-fighters attacked a group of resistance fighters east of Gaza City.

Meanwhile the Al Quds Brigades, the armed wing of the Islamic Jihad, said that one of its resistance fighters were killed in an Israeli air raid targeting Jabalyia town, the group identified the man as Mohamed Mihanah.

On Monday evening Israeli tanks shelled areas in northern Gaza, killing one resistance fighter and injuring three civilians. Mohamed Abu Hajar is said to be a resistance fighter for the Al Aqsa brigades of Fatah.

Earlier on Monday evening Palestinian medical sources said that four Palestinian civilians who sustained wounds during last week’s Israeli offensive targeting the coastal region were pronounced dead. The three were moved on Monday to Egypt for medical treatment but died shortly after.

The Israeli attacks on Gaza, which escalated on Wednesday and continued through Monday morning, left 120 Palestinians dead and over 300 injured. Of those killed during the five –day offensive, at least 95 were civilians.
