Khalid Al Azza, head of the Popular Committee Against the Wall and Settlements, member of the Central Committee of the National Struggle Front, stated on Wednesday that the Israeli authorities handed orders to residents of the West Bank districts of Bethlehem and Hebron informing them of intentions to demolish 10 homes and three stores in addition to a construction used for storing rain water. Al Azza stated that this is considered a violation “and a crime against humanity and the Fourth Geneva Conventions”.

He added that these violations are also against all religions and all international resolutions, and demanded the United Nations Secretary-General, the Arab League, the Islamic Conference Organization and all international community institutions to intervene and stop the ongoing Israeli violations against the basic rights of the Palestinian people.

He also called on the Palestinian Authority to halt all talks with Israel.
