Official police sources in the central West Bank city of Ramallah reported that Ahmad Al Mughani, the Palestinian Attorney General, survived an assassination attempt on Tuesday morning.
Initial police reports indicated that the Attorney General's car exploded while parked near his home in Ramallah city.
Witnesses stated that police and ambulances rushed to the scene, so far, no injuries were reported.
