Armed Israeli settlers attacked the village of Boreen, south of the West Bank city of Nablus. Settlers entered the village of Boreen in eight cars, destroying electric wires which led to the curtailment of electricity in the area, reported eyewitnesses. Israeli soldiers protected the settlers allowing them to continue the destruction of wires. Israeli troops also allowed the armed settlers to fire at random.
