Detained Palestinian Legislators, members of the Hamas’ Change and Reform Parliamentary Bloc, slammed the Palestinian security forces for arresting Fuad Al Khuffash, 34, a Palestinian human rights activist and the head of the Ahrar Center For Detainees Studies.
Al Kuffash was taken prisoner on Monday in the central West Bank city of Ramallah.
The detained legislators, imprisoned in Megiddo Israeli prison, stated that Al Khuffash always defended the detainees regardless of their political affiliation.
They added that the Ahrar Center in Ramallah became the voice of the Arab and Palestinian detainees in Israeli prisons.
The legislators called or for the immediate and unconditional release of Al Khuffash.
Meanwhile, the Palestinian Ministry of Detainees called on all human rights groups in Palestine to act for the release of Al Khuffash who also heads the main office of the ministry in the West Bank.
Riyadh Al Ashqar, head of the Media Department at the Palestinian Ministry of Detainees, stated that Al Khuffash was arrested four times by the Palestinian security forces without and was detained without any charges.
Al Ashqar added that Al Kuffash started working at the Ministry of Detainees eight years ago and was repeatedly kidnapped and imprisoned by the Israeli forces.
