8 Palestinian civilians were kidnapped on Tuesday by Israeli troops during invasions targeting a number of West Bank communities.

Six of the kidnapped were taken from the southern West Bank city of Hebron.

Local sources announced that Israeli soldiers searched and ransacked homes in Beit Ommar and Doura villages near Hebron as well as Al Fawwar Refugee camp in the city before kidnapping the six men and leaving.

Also, two Palestinian men were kidnapped by Israeli troops during house searches in Al Raam town near Jericho city, in the Jordan valley.

The Israeli army radio reported that those kidnapped were taken to military detention camps for questioning.
