Nimir Hammad, advisor to the Palestinian President, Mahmoud Abbas, stated Saturday that President Abbas and his Egyptian counterpart, Hosni Mubarak, will be holding a meeting in Cairo next Wednesday November 18.The meeting will be held before Abbas starts a tour in a number of countries in Latin America.
Hammad said that Abbas and Mubarak will be holding talks on issues regarding internal Palestinian talks, the stalled peace process, and the efforts to take the Arab Peace Initiative to the Security Council.
The two leaders would also hold talks on boosting the Arab efforts to achieve a comprehensive peace deal based on all related UN and Security Council resolutions.
