Palestinian medical sources reported that five Palestinians were wounded, on Friday morning, by setters and soldiers fire in Aseera Al Qibliyya town, south of the northern West Bank city of Nablus.Local sources reported that at least 30 armed settlers invaded the town and attacked a number of villagers while plowing their lands in Al Thaher area.
Later on, Israeli forces arrived at the scene and invaded the town instead of removing the settlers.
Troops fired gas bombs and rubber-coated bullets at the residents while the settlers attacked the villages with batons.
Local sources reported that the settlers attempted to occupy one of the homes in the town, but the residents managed to force them out of the village.
Israeli soldiers occupied another home and used its rooftop as a monitoring tower.
Aseera Al Qibliyya is one of dozens of Palestinians villages and towns repeatedly targeted by the settlers and Israeli soldiers.
Hundreds of olive trees were uprooted and burnt by the settlers in various attacks.
