Local sources in the southern West Bank City of Hebron reported on Monday evening that the Palestinian Security Forces arrested a member of Sair Town Council moments after the District Court ordered his release.The sources added that Hakim Shalalda was arrested forty days ago after the Palestinian security forces surrounded the Town Council, in the center of Sair town near Hebron, and broke into it.

On Monday, the security forces arrested Shalalda and his son-in-law while inside the Hebron Court and took them to a detention center in the center of the city

Shalalda has been repeatedly detained by the Palestinian security forces as part of an ongoing campaign carried out by the Palestinian Security forces against Hamas members and elected Hamas officials in the West Bank.

The Hamas movement reported on Tuesday morning that Palestinian Security Forces arrested eleven members of the movement in different parts of the West Bank, including two who were recently released from Israeli detention camps.
