Ten Palestinian university students were injured by Israeli troops fire on Monday during clashes at a military checkpoint near Ramallah city central West Bank.
Students from Birzeit University organized a protest at the nearby Attara Israeli military.
They were protesting the Israeli lookdown of Jerusalem and continued settlement construction in the city.
As soon as students reached the checkpoint, soldiers opened fire using tear gas and rubber-coated-metal bullets.
Ten students suffered mild-to-moderate wounds after being hit by rubber-coated-metal bullets, medical sources reported.
